World Guide / Playable peoples
Races
Twenty distinct peoples enter Nethryon with their own histories, loyalties, racial identity, and place in a world divided among four great factions.
-
Velkari
Lean black-and-grey canine raiders whose exposed bone ridges record victories and kinship. Swift packs range ahead of Dominion armies to harry supply lines and claim new hunting grounds.
-
Teleryth
Violet stone-skinned arcanists attuned to resonance, gravity, and the deep songs of the earth. Their contemplative orders study how matter remembers every force placed upon it.
-
Sykreth
Ochre four-armed insectoid peoples whose craft, combat, and ceremony rely on precise coordination. Their independent broods exchange protection and knowledge without surrendering their identities.
-
Seraqeth
Pale-feathered avian humanoids renowned as highland scouts, messengers, and bronze-armoured sentinels. Their aerie clans prize clear sight, swift intervention, and sworn service.
-
Ossalyth
Turquoise amphibious ruin-keepers crowned with fin crests and protected by shell armour. They explore drowned archives and guard relics buried beneath ice, tide, and silt.
-
Orrathen
White-grey furred guardians whose branching horns mark their mountain lineages. Patient and immensely resilient, they hold the Concord’s highest passes against storms and invasion.
-
Omnyrra
Lavender moth-like memory keepers whose patterned wings preserve ancestral impressions. Gentle but formidable, they navigate dreams and recover truths that conventional histories have lost.
-
Nhalari
Black-skinned void casters traced with stark white runes that restrain the power they wield. Feared by outsiders, they prize discipline and resist every empire that would exploit their gifts.
-
Lunethri
Charcoal-furred feline hunters marked by silver crescents and gifted with exceptional night senses. Their wandering prides protect secret roads and strike quickly against those who threaten Compact lands.
-
Korvethyr
Broad bronze-skinned rune-smiths who unite magical engineering with exacting craft. Their walking foundries restore ancient devices and create the Synod’s wards, engines, and armour.
-
Khevraun
Grey horned hunters protected by light scales and shaped by unforgiving frontier campaigns. They respect proven strength, track prey across impossible terrain, and distrust weakness in every form.
-
Kharrok
Massive slate-grey rhinoceros humanoids built for endurance and decisive charges. Their caravan holds survive hostile frontiers through communal loyalty and an almost immovable resolve.
-
Iskalyth
Blue-skinned gemstone casters whose luminous crystal runes channel carefully refracted magic. They preserve dangerous knowledge by setting memory and spellcraft into living stone.
-
Human
Adaptable mortal peoples whose city-states endure through cooperation, practical invention, and disciplined defence. Their varied traditions let them thrive in nearly every profession and climate.
-
Elaruun
Green-skinned healers who cultivate living-wood sanctuaries and mend wounded land as readily as flesh. Their wardens defend old groves while seeking peace between civilisation and the wild.
-
Drazhuren
Undead, bone-heavy demonic humanoids sustained by necromantic covenants and relentless will. They turn fallen legions and remembered grievances into weapons for the Dominion.
-
Dravakai
Red-scaled monstrous warriors who regard conquest as proof of fitness to rule. Their war hosts combine disciplined brutality with blood-heated rites and an appetite for worthy opposition.
-
Borukai
Huge purple humanoids of leathery hide, dense hair, and extraordinary endurance. Their clans value self-reliance, unarmed mastery, and the strength to shelter those accepted into their circle.
-
Avarreth
Golden-rune battle-mages who bind sunlight and martial doctrine into living sigils. They serve as wardens, strategists, and the Argent Concord’s most formidable arcane soldiers.
-
Aevrali
Midnight-blue astral seers whose silver tendril hair stirs in unseen celestial tides. They read possibility in stars and guide the Synod through omens, eclipses, and unstable portals.
